Generic inventory tools treat a ring like a box of screws. Mero keeps the details a jeweler prices by — metal, karat, weight, stones and labor — on every piece, knows what is on hand, out on memo and free to sell, and tells you when it is time to reorder.
Metal, karat and plating, gross weight and net metal weight, diamond and color-stone weight and value, and making charges are real fields, not custom columns stapled onto a generic catalog. Fields your business has that Mero does not are kept from your own spreadsheets as custom fields.
Pieces sent to a customer on memo are still yours, but they are not free to sell. Mero shows each product's on-hand count, how many are out on memo and with whom, and what is available — so a piece out on consignment is never sold twice.
Set a reorder point on the products you restock and leave it blank on one-of-a-kind pieces. When a product falls to its point, Mero flags it Low Stock and offers to draft purchase orders — one per supplier, each piece going back to whoever supplied it last. Nothing is sent until you approve it.
Each product keeps its own stock history: received on which purchase order, sold on which invoice, adjusted, returned or written off, with the count on hand after every movement. When a number looks wrong, the reason is one click away.
Inventory value at cost, wholesale value and retail value sit at the top of the inventory list, with the projected profit between them. Cost includes each supplier's landed cost — duty, freight and insurance — and every figure is in your own base currency.
Four roles — Admin, Inventory Manager, Sales Associate and Accountant — decide who sees cost and sell prices. The hiding is enforced in the database, not just on screen.
Upload Excel or CSV, or move over from Shopify, Square, QuickBooks or Zoho. Mero reads your columns, asks about anything it is unsure of, and any import can be undone.
Set up your workspace, import your existing data with a review step, and let the procurement agent prepare the first piece of real work.
